1. BOLT PATTERN

Every vehicle has a specific bolt pattern (lug pattern).
Common bolt patterns we offer:

Standard Patterns:

6x135 (F-150)
6x5.5 / 6x139.7 (GM, Toyota, Nissan)
8x170 (Ford Super Duty)
8x6.5 (RAM / Older GM / Older Ford)
8x180 (GM HD 2011+)

Don’t see yours?
We can custom cut almost any bolt pattern.

2. WHEEL DIAMETER

This is the wheel height.

Most common sizes we build:
20”
22”
24”
26”
28”
30”

Motorcycle wheels:
21” / 23” / 26” / 30”

Bigger diameters = more presence, more show, and require correct tire sizing.

3. WHEEL WIDTH

Wheel width determines stance, tire stretch, poke, and clearance.

Common widths:
10”
12”
14”
16”

Super Single (wide lip)
Dually (narrow rear)

Wider = deeper lip and more aggressive look.

4. OFFSET (ET)

Offset determines how far the wheel sits inside/outside the fender.

Offset Breakdown:

Positive Offset (+):
Wheel sits inward.
Ideal for stock height or lowered setups.

Zero Offset (0):
Neutral look. Balanced.

Negative Offset (-):
Wheel sits outward = poke, deep lip, aggressive stance.

Examples:
-44 = clean poke
-76 = deeper presence
-101 = extreme show fitment

If you want aggressive — you want negative.

5. LIP SIZE

The lip is how deep the wheel face sits back from the edge.

What affects lip size?
Width
Offset
Design style
Barrel specs

Wider wheels + deeper negative offset = bigger lip.

Cutthroat Forged is known for aggressive, deep-cut lips.

6. BRAKE CLEARANCE

Essential for:
Super Duty
GM HD
Newer Ram
High-performance brakes
Big brake kits
SXS builds
Motorcycle rotors

We can adjust:
Pad height
Backpad thickness
Hub bore
Spoke design clearance

Make sure to note if you have a big brake kit.

7. TIRE SIZING

Match the right tire to the right wheel size.

Example setups:

22x12 → 33x12.50r22 or 35x12.50r22
24x14 → 35x14.50r24
26x14 → 37x14.50r26

Tire stretch + overall stance depends on width and sidewall height.

We do not recommend oversized stretch on daily-driven vehicles.

8. LIFT / LEVELING REQUIREMENTS

A wheel’s offset + width = suspension impact.

General guidelines:

22x12: Leveling kit minimum
22x14: 3–6” lift recommended
24x14: 6–8” lift
26x14: 8–12” lift
28+ sizes: Show truck territory only

Every truck differs — always verify clearance.

9. DUALLY FITMENT

Dually wheels require special cuts:

Front vs Rear profiles
Hub clearance
Inner/outer spacing
Deep lips for show trucks
Alcoa conversions
Wide-track setups

10. SXS / UTV FITMENT

We offer:
Can-Am
Polaris
Kawasaki
Honda
Custom spindle setups

11. MOTORCYCLE FITMENT

Harley / Bagger sizes:
21
23
26
30

We also build matching rotors for a full Cutthroat combo.
